Possible lead in case of missing woman and son kidnapped yesterday

CITIZEN JOURNALISM – POSSIBLE LEAD ON MISSING PERSONS CASE – POSTED ON THE PUEBLO PPD FACEBOOK PAGE AUGUST 31 BY SCOTT CHASE (at 10:05pm) – “Is Law Enforcement looking for a yellow Mustang, possibly involved with the mother and child abduction? I work at the hospital, and a little bit before the Honda was found, I saw a newer yellow Mustang. It was stopped at the stop sign on Orman and Minnequa Aves. I work Security at the hospital, and was standing outside. The Mustang then drove passed the hospital, West on Minnequa Ave, at a high rate of speed. I only saw one person inside : the driver, who was a Hispanic male. I knew nothing at the time, about a yellow Mustang possibly being involved. I noted the car, because the driver was driving dangerously fast. Just thought I would pass this along.”- by Scott Chase

The admin of a scanner alert page on facebook, Dan Wall, says he heard that a yellow mustang had followed the suspect’s car from Commerce City to Pueblo and is somehow related to the case.

This possible lead is in response to the story about Samantha Adams, and her one year old son, Zahid Adams and suspect Mauricio Venzor-Gonzalez, 22, who were seen on video yesterday on the south side near Mary St. Corwin and someone who works there is reporting what he saw. We may have a lead despite that police from Adams County twittered this am that they haven’t found them and are asking for help. Call 911 if you see the three.

Here is a Friday am update to the August 31 story that hit state-wide news – our indy magazine had the most updated information on facebook as we used twitter and a local scanner expert to keep us informed – Adams County today admitted they released they found the car before they had, that the name of the child was misspelled and more but here on fb were were able to stay on to of this – Jenny Paulson / Publisher
UPDATE – We are trying to figure the tie in to the yellow mustang reported to follow the suspects grey car, it may have been a witness following them reporting to law enforcement rather than related to the suspect.
